Mark Foss
Mark Foss is a graphic designer, artist, and writer with an interest in context, communities, and communication. His MA thesis, Potentials: A Place, a Place, a Place was on the reciprocal nature of environments on collective efforts through the lens of three places with varying degrees of closeness to himself; A Restaurant (FOOD), a Garage (that’s use shifts from a sauna, a school, or a workshop, depending on who is making use of the space), and a Bus (a bus ride from Tallinn to Pristina which he took). He holds an MA in Graphic Design from the Estonian Academy of Arts and a BA in Communication Design from Parsons the New School of Design. His BA thesis focused on interventions in everyday life and the roles of expectations in music.
