Pack it up, pack it in, let me begin! On Sunday, September 13, from 10am–12pm, DOT will throw the first Sunday Session with curator, artist, and karaoke DJ Prem Krishnamurthy (full disclosure: that’s me). Together, we’re going to create an experimental new format for gathering that’s about connecting with something larger than yourself. Each Sunday Session will feature collective readings, participatory workshops—and, of course, karaoke (note: singing is optional)! For this first meetup, we’ll focus on Kae Tempest’s On Connection plus some other activities to warm us up for community, collaboration, and a little more cray-cray in the coming season.
