Reflecting Forward

Featuring Tamara Sussman and others

“A-R-T means
Actively Relating To...”

Rebecca Raue

Every good thing must come to an end, and an end can also be a beginning—a chance to rewrite the stories we’ve told ourselves and transform them into something new.

Join us for a special gathering to mark the close of the Groundwork library residency at Canal Projects and the start of D🌎T’s micro-residency at The Clemente. At this multi-modal participatory event, D🌍T’s Prem Krishnamurthy will share thoughts and findings that have emerged out of the activities of the past months: one-on-one conversations, gatherings with artists who have become therapists, a monthly reading group, and participatory events featuring a host of artists both at Canal Projects and elsewhere. As part of the event, artist-turned-clinical psychologist Tamara Sussman will prototype a workshop format for sharing cognitive behavioral tools to build models that can help pinpoint where we can make useful changes in our lives. Plus: who knows, there may even be some karaoke!
